  • The Bronx is a borough of New York City, coextensive with Bronx County, in the U.S. state of New York. It is south of Westchester County; north and east of the New York City borough of Manhattan, across the Harlem River; and north of the New York City borough of Queens, across the East River.
  • In The Bronx, the summers are warm, humid, and wet; the winters are very cold, snowy, and windy; and it is partly cloudy year-round. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 27°F to 85°F and is rarely below 13°F or above 93°F.
  • The Bronx is the home of the New York Yankees, nicknamed “the Bronx Bombers”, of Major League Baseball. The original Yankee Stadium opened in 1923 on 161st Street and River Avenue, a year that saw the Yankees bring home their first of 27 World Series Championships.

They were sensitive and responsive to my mother’s and our needs, and the move was handled quickly and well. We did the packing so they handled heavy boxes and furniture.
